Meetings of the Young Anatomists are also planned for 2026. In addition to the annual meeting as part of the 120th Annual Meeting of the Anatomical Society in Bielefeld and the regular online Meet-ups, there will also be a training and networking meeting in Halle in the spring.
Training and networking meeting from March 12-13, 2026, in Halle
Following last year's successful start, this year's training and networking meeting will take place in Halle from March 12-13 under the theme “Anatomy through the ages – past meets future.” Further details can be found in the flyer.
The YA meet-ups takes place online approximately every three months. Here, mentors share their experiences on topics relevant to a career in Anatomy in an interactive format. All members of the Young Anatomists receive a corresponding link via email.

Tübingen 2025 (Fortbildung Leichenwesen)
In 2025, in addition to the online meetings and the pre-conference in Würzburg, our first training course on body donation management took place in Tübingen at the invitation of Prof. Bernhard Hirt. In addition to an introduction to the legal and ethical aspects of body donation in German-speaking countries, there was also the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with alternative fixation techniques.
