Young Anatomists

About us

The Young Anatomists (YA) is the mentoring program of the Anatomische Gesellschaft, launched at the 114th Annual Meeting in 2019.

Our goal is to support young anatomists on their career path in Anatomy and to represent their interests. In this way, we strive to strengthen and ensure an active future for the anatomical community.

  • Mentoring:
With the support of our mentors, we organize various workshops, symposia, and regular meet-ups on topics that are particularly important for young anatomists (see “Meetings”).
  • Networking:
The YA form an interactive platform through which young anatomists can network with each other. The program also brings together anatomists at different career stages – from students to professors – enabling direct exchange.
  • Representation:
We represent the interests of young anatomists within the Anatomische Gesellschaft, in interactions with other societies, and to the public.
