Researchers from Homburg honoured

The research group led by Prof. Gabriela Krasteva-Christ as well as the researchers involved in the study receive the Best Publication Awards 2025 of the Anatomische Gesellschaft

A jury of nine scientists of the Anatomical Society has selected the best scientific publication of the year from all the winners of the Quarterly Publication Awards in 2025.

The Best Publication Award 2025 was awarded to the research group led by Prof. Dr. med. vet. Gabriela Krasteva-Christ from the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Homburg Saar for their study published in Nature Communications on the role of tracheal tuft cells.
