Research groups led by Prof. Jochen Staiger (Göttingen) and Prof. Johannes Vogt (Cologne) receive Best Publication Awards 2023 and 2024 of the Anatomische Gesellschaft
A jury of nine scientists of the Anatomical Society has selected the best scientific publication of the year from all the winners of the Quarterly Publication Awards in 2023 and 2024.
The Best Publication Award 2023 was awarded to the research group led by Prof. Dr. med. Jochen Staiger from the Institute of Neuroanatomy at the University of Göttingen for their study published in Cell Reports on the role of inhibitory interneurons of the barrel cortex in sensory information processing.
A detailed discussion of the award-winning study can be found here.
