Horst-Werner Korf, Director of the Institute of Anatomy II at the University of Frankfurt from 1990 to 2017 and member of the board of the Anatomische Gesellschaft from 2006 to 2009, was awarded the Editor of Distinction Awards 2025 in the categories “Author Service” and “Editorial Contribution” for his outstanding and long-standing commitment as editor of Springer Nature.
