As of the memorandum-of-understanding between the Anatomical Society (AS) and the Anatomische Gesellschaft (AG), the AG hosted a symposium at the Summer Meeting of the AS on the 25.07.2024 in Edinburgh which was themed around Development, Plasticity and Aging of the Nervous System. After a keynote lecture by Anja Bräuer, anatomists at all career levels (Anne Albrecht, Amelie Eichler, Julian Quabs, Christos Galanidis, Max Anstötz, Maximilian Janssen and Maximilian Lenz) gave excellent talks. Everybody involved was sure that this international exchange of scientific knowledge should definitively be promoted and we all look forward to the visit of the AS in 2 years.
